Giving a Local Resort a Stronger First Impression
I built the Kavanagh Resort website to give the property a clearer and more professional online presence. The job was not to make a flashy generic resort template; it was to help a prospective guest quickly understand the place and what it offers.
What I Prioritized
The page is structured around the resort's imagery and the information a visitor needs to make sense of the property. I focused on visual hierarchy, responsive behavior, and keeping important details easy to find across desktop and mobile.
I also treated content accuracy as part of the development work. Temporary promotions, unrelated listings, and claims I could not verify were left out rather than used to make the page look fuller.
What This Project Demonstrates
This project shows a different side of web development from my application work. It required restraint, content judgment, and the ability to turn limited source material into a polished presentation without inventing details the business had not provided.
